EBS is looking for dynamic and friendly School Nurses to join our team! School Nurses treat everything from scrapes and bruises to chronic conditions. As an EBS School Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for students who get sick or injured during school hours, taking vital signs, recording symptoms, and administering basic medical aid. In addition, you will also be responsible for educating students on health and growth development.
In this role, you will identify the health needs of students through appraisal, health histories, screening programs, observations, and conferences with parents, health providers, and school staff. Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues are essential to a position as an EBS School Nurse. It is also important that you are a trusted, caring, and ethical individual, because you will serve as the primary health consultant and provide the direct care necessary to support student health needs in the school setting.
